  1. Those that love God, find him. Proverbs 8:17

Those that do not love God, do not find him. Proverbs 1:28

There is no contradiction at all.

  2. Martin says:

The speaker is not God, but Wisdom:

Proverbs 1:20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:

  3. David says:

Sorry, been slow to getting these out lately. Been caught up with other projects. But here is my response to Contradiction #14.

  4. Lou M says:

Isaiah 65:1, “I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’
Romans 10:20, And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”
There are plenty of problems here, Contradiction is just one of them, Why do some people seek God for years and not find him? Hmmmm. Being a Respecter of persons is another Exodus 2:25, And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had RESPECT unto them…Hypocrisy is another problem…The Bible is all about Partiality and Double Standards.

    • Dennis says:

God is much concerned about the sincerity of one’s search for Him: if you seek for Him with an ulterior motive, such as so that you gain material blessings, you will certainly not find Him; however if you seek Him with a pure heart that intends to know Him He will reveal Himself to you. Start obeying His commandments to show God that you really desire to find Him. If you continue in your sins and disobey His commandments and yet try to find Him He will never reveal Himself to you. God desires the humble because He is Humble.
